In front of the Old Mosque

Paid a visit to this grand ole mosque during my recent trip to 9V1 land. If I still remember it was built sometime back in the early twenties. No wonder many foreign tourist keep flocking in with their shutters...Will go back again if ever make another trip...

9W2PTT & myself just outside Sim Lim soon after we got off from the cab. Notice the high rise in the background...we mistook it for a 5star hotel hi hi....I had to carry a VHF booster which weighed almost a ton all the way from Ipoh back for repair....it wasn't working when I got it thru the mail...but I was lucky it was finaly replaced...thanks alot to you Bravo Hotel....73

Yours truly outside Sim Lim in S'pore

Pick up some new toys the other day from Sim Lim...hectic but nevertheless quite enjoyable....this one taken just before we left. Had to walk over to Queen street to get a cab back to JB.
